Services Offered

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy is confidential, and the private sessions typically occur once a week. The sessions are focused and tailored to your unique challenges and goals. Once all the necessary paperwork is completed through the client portal, you will be scheduled for an intake session. 

Steps: 

  1. Intake session: Get to know each other, build comfort, assess your needs and support for therapy. 

  2. Treatment plan session: Collaboratively create a plan to reach your therapeutic goals.

  3. Recurring weekly sessions: Continue to work together in identifying and making progress towards the goals that are established. In between sessions, clients are encouraged to think, process and practice what we talked about in session.

Currently, Kifaya is only providing video sessions and is accepting new clients 18+ years old located in Minnesota.

Couple’s Workshop Series

This three-part workshop series (six hours total) is designed for couples wanting to build, strengthen, and improve their relationship and develop a deeper emotional connection. It is also ideal for those interested in premarital counseling and the first year of the relationship. Couples will be introduced to topics covering communication, interpersonal resolution and repairment, navigating expectations, coparenting, finances, and sex. 

Couples are encouraged to dedicate three consecutive weeks to complete the workshop. Couples can expect to meet with a therapist for 2 hours once a week, and will schedule those at the time of registration. Workshop series are private and confidential between the couple and the therapist.

Scheduling will be available once each participant has completed the paperwork in the portal. While virtual workshops are an option, we strongly recommend registering for an in-person workshop.
