Thank you for considering me as a collaborator in your healing journey within therapy. I’m a trauma trained and culturally attuned therapist. My work focuses on utilizing a decolonizing and anti-oppressive lens of mental health.
I hope/work to provide a space for clients to feel heard, understood, and accepted as their authentic selves. I value excellence and quality of care. It’s important for me to build trust and rapport with clients in order to co-create a thoughtful, collaborative approach to healing and wellness. I support clients in developing strategies to cope with stressors, creating balance in life and finding inner peace.
My areas of interest include, but are not limited to, working with anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal processes, emotional regulation, and ADHD. I enjoy supporting individuals (18+ years old) with marginalized identities, BIPOC, Muslim-identified, parents, immigrants, college students, and clients who feel ready to make positive shifts in their lives.
I draw from multiple treatment modalities and partner with clients to explore what best supports their unique nervous system, honoring that regulation and healing look different for everyone. My treatment interventions include but are not limited to EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, BSP - Brainspotting Therapy, CBT- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Social Justice approach, and person-centered.
